I’ve worked in the retail travel industry and leisure business since leaving school, starting as a sales consultant and progressing to customer service manager, store and cluster manager and deputising numerous times as regional manager. I then set up and ran a motor-home rental business. The experience from these roles has ensured I have gained and developed a wide variety of knowledge and skills including:

 communicating and adapting style depending on the person or audience
 managing performance and increasing productivity, resolving and handling customer issues and complaints, providing excellent customer service to retain and obtain customers
 organising and panning tasks, team and customer events
 geographical and travel product knowledge

One of my achievements was receiving “A Manager” award for exceeding revenue, customer service and costs targets.
My roles have involved mentoring and training on a one-to-one and group basis as well as giving daily guidance and providing feedback.  When it became a passion and gave me job satisfaction to see others develop and achieve, I moved to Thomas Cook Learning & Development team and trained as a coach/assessor, I gained the following awards
